A little more information would be helpful. How old are both of you and are you virgins? What type of burning do you mean?
The only thing that comes to mind is that she is just getting excited while you kiss and is unfamiliar with the sensation. Just like a man has increased blood flood when he is excited, which causes an erection, a female has increased blood flow. There just isn't a visual indication but she may be aware of it.
I may be totally off base but this is all I could come up with the the information I was given.
