Should they have fired him and gotten a new coach? Or did they make the right decision by keeping him? and Why?

It isnt Joe Torre's fault that the Yankee's have no pitching, its Cashman's fault. In the areas that Torre has authority, he does an excellent job. No manager in the world could have saved the Yankee's this year.

I am still on the fence about this one...when everything first went down after the last game i thought he should be fired...not because he isn't a great manager but because i thought this team needed a new voice. I still think this team needs a new voice but i also think the man the manage the team when Joe is gone is still a little to young to manage the Yankees...i don't think Lou should be the next Yankee manager i think Joe Girardi should...However now that Joe is staying i hope he changes some things...like his use or misuse of the bullpen, the attitude of this team...it has no unity or chemistry. I hope Joe does a good job but if the fail again he should move on...maybe even to the front office.

Say it is so, Joe: Torre remains as manager of Yankees:
I SEE THAT THEY KEPT HIM BUT HE HAS MADE IT TO THE PLAY OFFS EVERY SEASON. HE JUST NEEDS A NEW PITCHING COACH. AND SOME YOUNGER PLAYERS. THEY ARE OLD AS **** ON THE TEAM. TWO THERE HEADS IN NEW YORK ARE STUCK IN THERE ***. GET IT OUT AND SEE THAT YOUR TEAM IS GREAT. SO, DON'T PLAY THE BLAME GAMES.
AND BY THE WAY

GO TIGERSSSSSSSSSSS

I don't think Steinbrenner was ready for the book Joe would write and kept him another year.
