I rarely go to the movies, but that's a different situation. Me going to the movies doesn't cause everyone else to pay more for them. You know, supply and demand. The more gas we use, the less there is and the more expensive it is. We are all in this together.

Yes , I complain about gas prices and still drive a jeep. But I think the gas companies are ripping us off. Just look at the RECORD PROFITS they post. My jeep is my salvation. There is nothing like it to ease the stress of life( 4 kids ). In the general scheme of things it is cheap entertainment. Pack the kids in, take the top down and we are off . Try taking 4 kids to the movies. Jeeping is a lot cheaper !!
Actually I don't think I meet your criteria now. I have good reasons. 4x4. I get to work whenever I need to.

Do you complain ? Movie prices ? Still go instead of waiting for the video release ? You get the point. There really isn't much difference.

Actually I am proud to drive a UNION/AMERICAN made product.

the motorized vehicle is a a lot diverse portion of the people existence than that's for Europeans. i will say this because I extremely have lived in both. because the motorized vehicle is much better about status and personality right here, we've a tendency to emphasize better/flashier automobiles. gas prices were low right here for many the century, and hence tremendous will boost convey about the proceedings. We as people also spend much better time in our automobiles than europeans, so we've a tendency to purchase on convenience and luxury better than low-cost transportation. certain there is a few hypocrisy in those who personal the Hummer and ***** about extreme gas prices. And that's really infuriating to hearken to, yet we do have reason to *****. There are man made will boost that do not have to any extent further some thing to do with grant and demand. very last summer's spike case in point develop into regularly brought about through greed and hypothesis, and by no skill for a lack of oil. Is it an excuse? No. this does no longer propose that Europeans have the answer. that's human nature to work out fault in others. yet i'm particular you've sufficient issues over there to rigidity about, with out having to rigidity about ours.

How about getting those kids to soccer practice and home again safely, how about those SUV's... You have a better survival rate in case you have an accident in an SUV or truck, because typically it is a bigger vehicle. The price of gas is not a factor in the value of life itself. No matter what the gas prices are, I'll stick to driving a truck or SUV. Besides pulling my boat to the lake would not work well with a Honda civic.

I drive a 1984 K5 Blazer that i am restoring, it has a diesel engine. I get around 25 MPG. my only complaint (and should be yours as well) is that diesel fuel costs as much and more than high octane gasoline. It costs less to make, BUT it is what delivers everything in this country, so if diesel is high, that extra cost will be passed on to the consumer, in everything from milk to electronics, even to the gasoline that is delivered by a truck running on diesel fuel owned by the fuel company. Is that a good enough reason to complain?

Why is it not a good reason? I've had my SUV for 10 years and wouldn't even consider giving it up and it gets 25 miles to the gallon thank you very much.

As for gas prices... I've spent the last 7 years living in Europe and they pay $5 a gallon for gas so we whiny Americans really just need to shut up and find something more worthwhile to whine about!!!

Because they drive what they want to just like the rest of the world. They still have a right to complain about the cost of gas.

Oh, quit being so self-righteous. For the record, I grew up in Canada and lived in Europe. Gas prices here are nothing to complain about.

I mean if you wanna drive a Yugo or a Pruis, that is your choice. We do live in a FREE country, you know! lol.......

I drive an SUV, and i don't complain about gas. Because it could always be worse. If you think gas isn't expensive, think about much per gallon you are paying for milk, orange juice, soda and so forth.

I need a bigger vehicle to tow all my car trailer stuff and would complain more about having to drive a small crackerbox than complain about high gas costs. Both are a drag.
