Patent Leather can be worn to your 9-5 setting pending on the attire. I have a pair of pumps and flats that I incorporate into my suite attire on a daily basis. It all depends on how you wear it. Patent leather is hot on the "fall trend" list this year. I say go for it just get you some slacks that are really long and even a cuff would be fun and work it honey!!! LOL It's only trashy if you make it that way!!!

Some are, yes. I actually saw this gorgeous pair of blue patent pumps that I'm planning on picking up on Friday, if the store still has them.

Personally, I think that patent leather should be left for evening wear. Patent and other flashy shoes look great at night, but I think they tend to look trashy during the day.
