My sister thinks they just get liquid from their prey and dont drink water ,does anyone know?

Most owls will readily drink and bathe in garden ponds and birdbaths at night.

Owls do drink water from water troughs/cattle troughts but quite often drown!! Due to falling in!!!

Same as other birds, they get a beak full of water and tip their head back.

as far as i am aware they use thier tounges in the same way a cat does. I think that anyway, not 100% sure.
