How do I go about getting the listing lifted? My credit history is fine but is being affected by the tenants bad credit situation.

Any assistance from someone with experience would be much appreciated.

Houses are no longer blacklisted - it is individuals. However, it seems that someone has confused you with someone else with the same address. Get your credit file from the three credit agencies (experian, equifax, and creditcall). Review the info. Write letter explaining your situation, asking the credit agencies to put it in your credit file.

this is a complication-unfastened delusion, and is not the case. It did was the case that an handle replaced into blacklisted, using one individual residing there who had poor credit, and affected all human beings residing at that handle. in spite of the fact that, this replaced into blatantly unfair, and altered years in the past. Now debt is expounded to a individual, and not a sources. As a individual strikes, the debt travels with thim. Your daughter could have the worst credit status in the international, in spite of the fact that it won't influence every person else residing on the valuables. the only time costs influence extra desirable than one individual are in case you're married, or in case you have a joint financial business enterprise account. In those circumstances one persons credit can influence the different. in spite of the fact that, which comprise your daughter you have genuinely not something to be concerned approximately, it could tutor her residing at your handle (whether shes not, if the report hasn't been as much as date), in spite of the fact that it won't blacklist the valuables, and could not influence every person else residing there.

Contact Experian and Equifax and write a letter disassociating yourself finacially from your lodger. Your house cannot be blacklisted, credit goes again the person, not the property, hence why moving house won't help you avoid debts.

I work in a Legal Department, so I can tell you for definate, that properties do not get black listed.
There is no such thing as a black listed property.
There are only personal credit reports, do a google search on black listed property or something and you will see Im right.

Contact all the people that they owe to and explain the situation to them - they can then remove the debt from your address - do not open any mail sent to your address for this person return to sender and write no longer at this address on the envelope, it may take a few months to get it sorted.
Good luck with it.
