Yes you can get a mortgage, but it is specialist, the interest rate will he higher.
If the boat comes with moorings then the location is a factor. Moorings are hard to get. There are only a few, and get taken up quickly.
You dont pay Council Tax.
Yes you pay mooring charges.

Boats can be quite expensive up to £100,000!!! Seriously

YOu can get a loan for a boat of any kind.
Location is a factor, as many places boatrs are more expensive than others. Also the number of identical boats up for sale would also be a factor to the price.
TAxes may be levied, but you will need to check with your local township about them.
Mooring charges are a given. YOu pay rent for the space and you may even have to pay extra for grounds maintenance, security etc.

no you cant get a mortgage but you can get a loan secured on the boat.
yes you pay council tax if you have a permanent mooring.
post can be sent to your mooring or collected from local post office.
boats cost around £1000 per foot so 60 foot will cost around £60000 that's for a good boat.
mooring fees are per foot and ill cost around £1500 to £2000per year including electric
you also need insurance £200.
Boat licence .
every 2 years the boat needs to be taken out of the water and have the hull painted £250 to £500.
