I am looking for a link or something to this funny but real article I got in an email about 5 yrs ago. It was an article out of an old Better Homes and Gardens from the 1950's about a womans role. It was very sexist and crude, but it was how women thought back then! Any help would be appreciated!

I checked the links & it was a bit different than an article I had read. A prof gave us 2 different articles - one for women working outside the home to be more interesting for her husband, & one against completely against it, stating that she has a responsibility to her family to remain at home. They had other issues included, but that was the main messages, & they were real articles. I honestly don't know how you would even find them, but you might try a womens studies department or library of a university close to you & see if they have any copies. they would be the best resources if you need it for acedemic purposes.

Why don't you contact Better Homes and Garden magazine or email them and see what they say.
