Much of the rhetoric is aimed not at outside countries, but an attempt to quell the growing threat internally within N. Korea of an overthrow of the government by creating a view of external "enemies". Even China is growing weary of N. Korea. The only reason that China has not used tough sanctions against the north is because of the refugee flow into China that would occur should living conditions deteriorate further.

N. Korea is fully aware that they cannot win an armed conflict. The only reason they are acting as they are is because they do not feel that the USA can retaliate quickly due to the tie up of forces in Iraq. I am sure that they realize that the more likely scenario is that if they start a war, they will be invaded by China in order to stabilize the area and protect China's economy which would suffer in the case of a war on the peninsula. Such a war would tax the world economies and world buying power not to mention the previously stated refugee worries.

I advise you to stay where you are first. looking at the condition now, we can tell that North Korea is quite bold in its nuke test, that's why it is a threat to other countries, especially Japan and the United States. Let's just see if a miracle would happen... What we can do now is to pray for peace in the world...

Actually North and South Korea are still at war as only a truce was agreed, but I don't think North Korea would dare to nuke the South....it would be signing thier own death warrant!

I think it's unlikely for the N Korea to go to war against the S Korea. But if you're worried, you may want to return to the U.S.

No. This is the death rattle of the worlds last Communist leader. The days of nuclear posturing are over. Hopefully the technology will die with him.

I feel for you. Probably the safest places to live would be Switzerland or Australia, maybe the Netherlands. When's the last time Australia got bombed?? They don't bother anyone.

More likely between NK and China or Russia if you ask me, though given half a chance the US would probably get involved too.
