I am a vegetarian, i feel a lot better like that. I am almost never tired. Here is some info, if you haven't known that:
Dr. Per-Olaf Astrand conducted an informal study of diet and endurance using nine highly trained athletes, changing their diet every three days. At the end of every diet change, each athlete would pedal a bicycle until exhaustion. Those with a high protein and high fat meat (carnivore) diet averaged 57 minutes. Those that consumed a mixed (omnivore) diet, lower in meat, fat and protein averaged 1 hour and 54 minutes: twice the endurance of the meat and fat eaters. The vegetarian, high carbohydrate diet athletes lasted 2 hours and 47 minutes, triple the endurance of the high-protein group. (Source: Astrand, Per-Olaf, Nutrition Today 3:no2, 9-11, 1968)

A regular diet is the best way. Vegetarians are usually low on iron. And I don't believe that study the first person mentioned. If I don't have a complete mix of everything (meat, veggies, fruits, and carbs) then I don't have enough energy for my workouts. Just because someone is a meat eater, it doesn't mean it's a high fat diet. There are plenty of lean red meats that are just as low in fat and calories as boneless, skinless chicken breasts.

of course a regular diet...and im guessing it would outnumber vegetarians coz theres so few

To subsitude iron that you would get from meat you could eat beans and Peanuts and peanut butter

I don't have any studies to back me up so, I only have my opinion which is if you don't eat meat you're missing out. I love meat.
