That is a loaded question. Of course there are good Black men left in the world, there are good men of every race. For one it is a media ploy that has you convinced that all or most Black men are in jail or dead. Most Black men are hard working, God fearing, tax paying members of society. Just because we are shown disproportionately as criminals in the media, does not mean we are all crack dealers or gang bangers. Part of the problem is we as a people have been socialized to believe that we are not capable of having fulfilling relationships. In the past the Black family has been under constant attack. Today is no different, so you must be smarter than the world that is attacking you. Take time to be friends and get to know a person before you want to make them your boyfriend. Don't be quick to have sex with the man in your life (it changes the dynamic in all male/female relationships not just Black ones). Look outside of your comfort zone. There are some very good men out there that may not look like the type of man you are typically attracted to. Avoid Black men that fall victim to this whole "bling bling" and being a thug mentality that videos portray. They are followers and can not think for themselves. I wish you luck and may your searched be a blessed one.

This is going to be a loaded answer coming from a white woman, but I just have to say something. Please be aware I am speaking in generalizations and am not a racist. The black people I've met in general seem to have much stronger personalities. By this I mean they are not afraid to confront, are typically louder in their speaking tones (gospel churches are a great example), and are more abrasive in general. Statistics show that prison popluations are a majority of minorities, blacks making up the largest portion. While their crimes tend to be more violent, I think it has to do with the environment they were raised in. While white people get the majority of the white collar crimes, we also have the most screwed up crimes (Dahmer and Gacy). Because of this stereotype, there is probably some racial profiling still at work. In urban populations, blacks make up a large portion of that, and survival is crucial. Unfortunately, a lot times crime is part of that survival - I've seen it done to feed families. I think that is the saddest part. There are plenty of good ones out there. You just have to keep your eyes peeled.

Blacks in the U.S. have a lot of anger for what happened to
their people in this country. And they aren't dealing with it.
That is why black men and women are so against each other. Making remarks about each other that cause more hurt.
And people become defensive and even aggressive.
That is the nature of evil. To divide.
Blacks themselves must take control of this situation, and stop taking the pain out on each other.

There are many many black men out there that are kind, God fearing people. You may think that many black men are in jail because that is what the media wants you to believe. i am an artist, and am working to go to college(first a two year, then a four year.) ive lived in rough places in atlanta, but i choose not to follow the crowd. im young as well, but knowledgable to know that there are good black men. (im 19.)

Seems to me that if I was looking for honey, I'd go to the beehive. Know what I'm sayin'?
You do realize there is an entire continent FULL of beautiful, free, alive black men. As long as you don't mind if they are Muslim (because many of them are) then you've got it made!
Or you can stick around here and fight over the dregs or try to compete for the black men who do manage to beat the odds.
But good men are hard to find, in ANY color, and once you start putting a color restriction on, your odds of finding Mr. Right begin to plummet. So, do what I tell my kids to do and travel the world. Go see what's out there, who's out there. Maybe you'll like what you find.

Yes there are and in the immortal words of Katt William "If you over 25 and you haven't meet or found a good man you need to check your P****Y and see why it keeps attracting the men you do.

If you are trolling nightclubs or rap concerts then no there might not be any good men there.

If you looking in the church be advised most of those men are not what they seem most are there looking for a booty call.

If you are looking for a doctor or lawyer and you are uneducated and have nothing to offer then no you want find a man there.

Good black men are out there and they can be found.

Black kids aren't given exposure to many good role models. Jordan was good but then you have a pukes like Iverson and Rodman. You've got idiots like 50 cent and all the other ****** rappers, where are the good role models? R.Kelly had some songs that weren't abusive then he makes tapes of him with minors. The kids see these guys getting the women and think it's cool.Lil Kim acting proud to be in jail , everyone going around with hoodies , dressing like criminals . really , what can you expect?

I'm a white man and i can truthfully say that you're walking around with your eyes shut or else mixing with the wrong people.

I know many black men who are much better than i could ever be (and white men but that's not the question).

attitude and expectations and maybe not open but most likely subversive discrimination.

I am white Duah! I worked for a white gentleman that would say things like, don't expect much look at the demographics.

I was told that folks in the hood was out to get an anything they can when they can from whomever they can.

I was not used to this and was quite pissed when my attempts to start an employee training program was met with resistance from the store manager.

No matter who you are IF YOU DO NOT INVEST IN YOUR EMPLOYEES you are not establishing a bases for the long term good of the worker, the store and the economy.

I find it hard to take these terms, --- It ain't my job, It can't be done, We don't like change we have always done it this way.
