It depends on what you want to eat. My favorites are:
Pizza - Oliver's in Peoria Heights
Tenderloin sandwich - Webb's Windsor Pub on N. University or Donnelly's Pub on W. Glen
Fish or Seafood - The Fish House on N. University
Steak - Webb's or The Fish House or cook your own at Alexander Street Steakhouse.
Italian - Rizzi's

Dominic's: 4700 University St, Metro Centre, Peoria, IL
309-693-1485
The old building that houses Central Illinois's oldest-operating brewery dates from the 1890s and still boasts much of its original charm, including pressed-tin ceilings, exposed brick walls, and polished hardwood floors. The place also carries a fine reputation for superb American cuisine, including dishes like shrimp pasta primavera, top sirloin, oven-roasted chicken breast, and slow-roasted baby-back ribs. Each is served with delicious sides like 'smashed' potatoes or cottage fries. Of course, the place's hand-crafted ales, stouts, and lagers are great, too!
