I had a baby almost 5 months ago and a had surgery right after. Ever since, I have had badddd gas pains and consipation. You would think I had to pass gas but instead it's really air just coiming out of me. I can't make sense of it but I'm thinking it's from the labor and surgery since air can build up inside of you. Has this happened to anyone after having a baby or just surgery? Because it's so painful and I've tried just about everything to stop it. I know it's tmi but I really need your help.

Don't be embarassed the same thing happened to my sister it can be quite painful, my sister tried everything before going to see a doctor who told her to try warm water and sugar, it seemed to work and settled her tummy and the pains soon went away.

Yes, this is quite common after having a baby or abdominal surgery of any type. Your abdomen gets pumped with gas in order to expand it.

Lots of walking and drinking regular tea will help get rid of it.

I've heard of this. You need to watch the 2nd Harry Potter Film where he makes his Aunt float away. Yeah, you've got that.
