There is nothing wrong with being rich. But how you use the money is the question. Many today that have money start wanting so much, that all sense of priorities go out the window. For example, parents who have riches spend so much time earning more or are trying to protect what they have, that the children are with out them most of the time. They are usually raised by Nanny's or the like. King Solomon the riches man at one time, he had so much riches and many wives and children. He Said "that all of it was vanity or a striving after the wind." It never made him truly happy. So, use what you have for the good of your family, but don't let money ruin your family.

Of course not,as long as it was not at the expense of the less fortunate, which sadly is how a lot of ppl get rich anyway ,unless they have a great idea or production /manufacturing company.
Not all rich ppl make their money from less fortunate, look become a film star then watch the money roll in or a pop star, hey come up with a gimmick that ppl want then you too can become rich ,,,good luck

No it's not morally wrong to be rich. It's morally wrong not to share your riches. It's my believe that once you become stable you should be able to share the money with other to give them a chance to do the same.

Besides, the things you share in life usually come back to you- good or bad.

It's morally wrong (according to the teachings of Christ) to be rich and not try and help those who are poor. But to just be rich is not morally wrong.

Hell no! however if your money is all you ever talk about, then that really sucks, nothing worse than a mate that does nothing but talk about his purchases and how much he has sitting in his bank account! But definitely not morally wrong to be rich, good on you if you are, you wanna share?lol

I think it depends on how you aquire your money and how you use it. If you're selfish and greedy, and use people in ruthless ways to be rich, then keep it all for yourself or squander it on undeserving people and bad habits, then your morality is affected. If you become rich through honest means (which I suppose is possible), take care of the people who helped you get there and use a decent portion of your money to help people who need it, then I think it's okay.

By the way

No of course not , unless you've become rich by ill gotten gains, on the backs of other people.

However because of their immense wealth there are expectations that wealthy people should do more and give back to the community and many do, but there are also some who are negative , miserly and out and out mean and look down on others just because they are rich.

Remember the old saying to those whom much has been given , much is expected.

why would it be morally wrong to save up your hard-earned money. why would it be morally wrong if you were born into money?

there's nothing wrong with being rich, it's just what you do with it that matters. having money is purely circumstantial. spending mass amounts of money really boosts the economy, but rich people have to remember that there are poorer people than them, and being ignorant about that is wrong.

It's not morally wrong to be rich if you earned your money honestly or inherited it.

of course not...........but then its morally wrong to look down upon poor people or regard them as something "inhuman"! Rich people should respect everyone equally and they should not use their supremacy over the weaker ones by hurting their delicacy!
