I know it showed Claire on the autopsy table all opened up, etc. But she didn't wake up until the stick was pulled from her neck. My question is, who pulled the stick from her neck? No one else was in the room with her, right? And she wasn't awake, so she couldn't have done it, right?

I was watching it online, so maybe I missed some detail...can anyone help me in figuring out who pulled the stick out of her neck?

I would guess the coroner, or whoever was performing the autopsy. I think the reason no one was shown in the room with her is because there was a passage of time between the removal of the stick & her awakening (I don't think it's that easy coming back from the dead).
A co-worker thinks she wasn't in a regular autopsy lab, but in some secret lab, possibly the organization for which her father works. I didn't get that, but am curious to know if anyone else did.

That is a wierd scene when you think about it. There was no need for an autopsy. the cause of death was a broken neck as demonstrated by the stick in her neck. Why cut her at all? I could understand doing a pelvic exam and a rape kit but not an autopsy. It is more than likely that the lab tech removed the stick but it is also possibility that her high school buddy or the quarterback removed the stick. The buddy might have done it to see what would happen, The quarterback would have done it to destroy the evidence that he was on top of her. Then again it could have been Sylar about to cut off her skull cap to remove her brain. In case you were wondering, everyone's powers are in their brain and Sylar will be collecting those brains to try and gather those powers, The stick pierced the spinal cord severing the brain from the lower extremities. When the stick was removed the chord was healed and the brain did all the rest. The question is can she get out of the exam room or not and who is in there with her. Hopefully it is her friend, otherwise, this could be interesting. My impression was that it was the coroner being as the stick was placed in a pan. But like I said there was no reason for her chest to be opened like that. Also they didn't use a rib spreader so ther is no tellin what they were looking for. Interesting.

The assumption would be that the Medical Examiner (ME) removed the stick. You see his/her gloved hand remove it; then apparently they walk away. My first question was, if she's invincible, why was she dead until the stick was removed? My second question was, what kind of ME wouldn't remove the stick before beginning the examination? Of course, that would have messed up the story because she would have awakened too soon. No idea how her body is going to "fix" this one, but there can't be many nightmares worse than waking up flayed on an autopsy table.

The autopsy guy pulled the stick from her neck. You could tell by the gloves. If that happened to me, the least I would be saying is Holy S****! It would be more like "What the ****?"

I think she did pull the stick out of herself, and then she came back and looked down at her open up chest, the real funny thing for me was as i was watching it I said hole s*it and then she said "Holy ...." and it went black. Funny stuff.
