What's wrong with soft nipples?
I hear a little self image problem in your question. So it is hard to help you with your problem without more information. Who is influencing you to make your nipples harder? And why? When do you want your nipples to get harder? And why? Do you have something mentally going on that is affecting you normal arousal reaction? Medication? Childbirth, pregnancy? There are SO many factors, you need to be more specific.

Why would you want them hard anyway? That could be very uncomfortable when wearing clothes.
Nipples get hard when aroused. When you're by yourself or with someone you love, pull on them (gently!), play with them, have your s/o touch other parts of your body, and they should get hard. Wearing certain fabrics can get them hard. Being in a cold environment can get them hard. They won't stay that way all the time. Be happy that they are soft.

Nipples become hard with stimulation, any type. They will become hard when it is necessary, believe me, they will!!
