I respect the left and the right equally.
The people that resort to insults usually have nothing to say anyway.

Some people can be rational, but others choose a different route. I try to be civil. However, there are times I can get a little wild with my comments when I feel it is justified. And I do respect almost everyone elses opinions. I can't respect those who are being hateful and derogatory.

No and you already know this. The multiple profiling from the Neocons is just a tool to inflame hatred. They wont even allow you a proper answer, or posting of a valid question because they will have it removed. So they don't have any tolerance, and continue to spam and load up this site with false and wrong answers. Yahoo doesn't even use them as a source for their answers being so bad.

No. You need only look at some of the answers to this question. I mean the "Liberals are this and conservative are that" type of answers.
Both sides need people who understand the philosophy and ideas behind the side they've taken. No longer are conservative and liberal seen as two differing viewpoints aiming to reach the same goal through differing means. Each side now comes to view their side as right and the other's as wrong/ good or evil. In the process they have also lost sight of the true meaning of politics.

Sometimes they are. Sometimes the question itself is insulting, but the person asking it seems to have no idea. Also, some of the answers are way too long and constitute a long winded essay on the state of the writer's political beliefs, not an answer to the question.

If the question deserves respect it should be given respect.
When the avatar is Bush's face cropped onto the head of a Muslim it is difficult to show any respect.

Yes they can....but I gotta say... You are certainly not one of those that are trying to be respectful. Just judging from your past answers and questions. You definitely have an ax to grind.
Good question though.

I have noticed the liberals tend to want no one's view point besides their own.
I, however; have, a few times, given Best Answer to people who disagree with me. However, I do not remember seeing the other side do this.
Plus, I think George Bush is a great president, and that just get's 'em riled up.

Depends, or yes and no. Some of the people here show no respect for themselves let alone somebody else.
