what a great question. i found this answer from this website. its a bit of an (nerdy) addictive website... i read far too much about penguins... thanks...

Wonderful question! I never thought about (or cared!) if penguins have knees, but aren't they the cutest little things? Wish I could have one for a pet!

All of us have knees, even penguins. Some knees are for food, others are sexual knees, some of us have educational knees, and we all have a kneed for recognition :)
