Absolutely no problems whatsoever using a a remover in your bathtub. A drain is a drain and the piping in a washroom is normally the same. Be sure to give the product some time to sit before clearing away, I would even recommend pouring it and leaving it overnight to be sure to unclog all possible buildups! I hope this helps, best of luck :)

absolutely - before you do, have a close look at the plughole - my guess is you'll find some strands of hair which, when you pick them out of the drain, will reveal a really gross clump of slimy, shampoo-y old hair. it's not fun... after that some mr muscle sink and plughole unblocker or equivalent will do the job. make sure no-one needs to use the shower for a while though - the longer you leave the stuff in the drain, the more unblocking it'll do. overnight for really stubborn blockages.

That's only a temporary solution. The best way to clean out all the crap is to remove the over flow cover and block the hole with a rag and do the same for the sink. I.E. the over flow and drain. The idea of covering the holes is to trap the air and this will force out whatever is trapped. Take a plunger, cover the drain hole for the tub and voila !!! You will be amazed and disgusted at all the crap that will come out. Do this once a year and you will never have any problems with clogged drains.

It is okay, make sure you just get it into the drain if the surrounding areas looks like it could be damaged by caustic liquids.
