I am going to start working in a hospital environment along with patients and doctors and I need some advice how to tame these long locks...Hint: my hair is down to the bottom of my bra in length with no bangs. HELP!~

Pull it back into a pony tail, either with or without a part. Then split the pony in 2. Twist one strand around the other, like you're making a twist rope. Secure with hair bands until all the ends stay in. It looks cool, and once you get he hang of it, you can sleep on it, swim with it, and knock into things with it and it won't move. Really great for jobs where your hair HAS to stay up.
