By identifying that you need to improve self confidence, you have achieved half. The other half can be achieved by reading books, practising hard work, sincere efforts.

Focus on your strengths. Everyone has something they're good at. Be proud of your accomplishments, talents. Focus on the positive & not the negative. Believe in yourself. Take risks. The more risks you take, the more you grow as a person & the more confident you become. Remember courage isn't the absence of fear, it's feeling afraid & plunging ahead anyway. Push yourself to achieve more. & never give up. Don't let setbacks shake your confidence. No one succeeds all the time. Most of us make mistakes & fail a lot before our first success.

There are a lot of self-help books about positive thinking, improving self-esteem, building confidence. Reading these can help to inspire you & give you some tools to work with.

You can do anything. The only limits are those you put on yourself. Try saying positive affirmations in the morning: ie.
"I am confident. I can do anything." If you say them long enough you start to believe them.

Good luck!

As many times a day as you can... stop what you are doing... take a deep breath, and think to yourself, can you be doing anything at that moment that would improve your self. Spend all your time being proud of what you are doing, and your self confidence will soar!

Find something you love to do, improve yourself in it. Don't do something you dislike, it will only make you dissatisfied with yourself and ask for approvals. Learn from other people, like sports star, for example.
