My mom says that whitches are real and they do bad things, Is this true?

Never heard of a whitch. Now witches on the other hand are real and do not do bad things.

If you mean like the green, cauldron stirring, crazy women who ride on brooms and have warts on their nose and black cats, NO!
If you are referring to people who practice the religion Wicca then yes. The Wiccans I have met are basically normal peaceful people who go about their own business not bothering anyone. Christian and Muslim conservatives could learn a thing or two from them.

could be that anyone who goes to the dark side is capable of bad things? some people think in their minds they are witches??In 1600's a few were sent their reward in Salem??as for bad things it could be the "entity" not the person????In the Bible Saul went to see a witch of Endor? that brought about his downfall.

They are real, they are Wiccans. But they aren't bad just normal people. They believe god is in nature, and they don't wear pointy hats or cast spells.
