I say that theifs are better than a vandals because they at least respect the value of property .

Vandalism is an act of destruction. It "acts out" anger, frustration, anti-social behaviours.
Vandalism seeks to deny the owner of the property, or the community, the use or enjoyment of the property.

Some people have no respect for other people's property. I don't know why some people vandalize property.

Yes, vandals are ignorant people who destroy or disfigure something. In this day of age it seems to be people who have no respect for anything and who must have wayyyyy to much time on their hands.

They're also stupid. If I was angry enough to vandalize, I'd be smart enough to at least take anything of value before I rip everything else to shreds.
