A male/female relationship without sex. Two people who have formed a bond based on the knowledge that neither party is motivated to be friends with the other in hopes of having sex with them. A friendship on the understanding that sex will never enter into the equation is referred to as a platonic relationship.

An ideal relationship. It happens when a guy and a girl are truly friends and only friends without any sexual implications (which, however, is barely possible).

It means that the relationship doesn't involve sex in any way; friendship only, perhaps more, but no sexual activity.

A non-sexual relationship - as in pure friendship not as in abstaining from sex.
