It really doesn't bother me now. Keep in mind that they're professional, and do this all the time. To them it's not that much different than looking down someone's throat... try and think of it the same way :)

When I go, I don't think I'm nervous. But when She goes in for the pelvic exam, my stomach muscles automatically tense up and no matter how hard I try I can't get them to relax. My doctor thinks it's funny, she laughs and goes on with the other stuff until I'm relaxed enough for her to finish the exam. Other than that part, I'm okay with going to the gyno. The thing that really does help me not to freak out every time is that she has seen everything. Anything I ask, she has heard it before. Hope it goes well.

Good for you. Doctors are just there to check you and they have seen a million women in their lifetime, don't worry it's routine for them and it should be for you too.

It's good to go. It may be embarassing but it's for your health. You get use to it after a while.
