Several reasons to that...
- Sex is pleasurable. By jewish-christian morals pleasure equates guilt. Too much of any pleasurable activity could distract us from work and church. Thus most religions tell us we should feel guilty pleasuring ourselves too much.
- Sex between a man and a woman can result in pregnancy. If this occurs to under age minors it becomes a problem for the society as it has to somehow provide solutions in order to take care of the children since young people don't usually have jobs and cannot financially take care of them. Also young parents might drop out of school to try and make a living resulting in a poorly educated population.
- Sex can transmit diseases thus younger people are discouraged from having it because adults don't think they capable of protecting themselves accurately. and again curing those diseases cost money to society.
- Adultery can end up in divorce, broken families, single income parent, once again costing money to the society who needs then to step in and provide some sort of financial help and support to them.
Mostly governements want us to get a good education, get a job, get married, have children. That way we contribute to a financially secure nation and we are easier to control.

The folks that think it's disrespected...or a sin....are not getting it!. It's like when the movie "Deep Throat came out..a Federal Judge viewed it twice..before he decided it was obscene. So i don't figure he ever had one........lol...

Only illegal sex is disrespectful and considered a sin by devout moral and spiritually inclined people.

It's seen as a taboo topic.Something that can be done,but not talked about.Slowly society is changing their views on sex.

Not always sex looks irrespect but when misuse it & exposed in intolarable way and against to our culture.even kamasutra is written in this country n in the way of honour and importance to sex
