I have bought a Sony Walkman and the software that comes with it is pure rubbish! Can anyone suggest a patch / download / other software that can be used with the Walkman?

Ya need to chuck it back at sony like the i pods and stuff and just buy a play that is basicly an extenal hard drive! You can dump anything onto them without become a slave to corprate software.
I have an old acer MP-330 it may be as big a a pack of fags (heavens thats far to big to carry around) put a i can record on it, dump any kind file on it (althouigh opviously I can;t see jpgs etc on it) it works just like a memory stick but is 10GBs and works like a player I'm sure there must be more up to date ones like it about, but I have had no problems with it, it was cheap and twice as good as any of the posh crap I looked at at the time.
