As a last resort you can always hit the print screen button when you have your webcam picture running, and copy that to what ever graphics software you use to crop it.

I have an IMAC and it came with a webcam and Photobucket. It's wonderful.

yes sometimes you will have a button on top of cam or sometimes the software comes with camera to allow you to do this.
