whats the longest you ve worked in a day?and get paid for it?for me its 12 hours.

Pah! 12 hours. I am not kidding.. when we have to get work done on time, we have to get it done. I once worked for 26 hours straight before going home, having 5 hours rest then going back for another 12. Got the job done, big pay packet and an ipod & trip interstate from the boss

I worked 3 days straight.
Our building was flooding and we needed to get all the medical records up to the top floor. The coast guard ended up taking us out. We didn't go home we went to breakfast. Got paid to eat pancakes! Then we got our other building in the other part of town ready for when the water went down. Then I did at least 12 hour days for about a month. Drying out records and getting things back in order.

Now I have a different job. I work 12 hours a day 7 days a week for most of December.

I normally work 12 hour shifts and one time I work 16 hours straight. The company got a funny idea that I was going to pull 16 hour shifts more often. They got fooled.

24 hours I work 24 hour shifts 2 times a week total 48 a week

before for 3 days i worked for 20 hrs and got paid.

72 hours straight ... changing a wheel on a 600 ton demag container crane ... it sost the company $5000 dollars an hour while the crane was down .... we had engineers screaming all the time ... it was wild ... got a lift home as i was too tired to drive .... after 8 hours it was double pay ... $$$$

I have worked almost 15 hours but nomaly it only about 9 hours.
