I could not agree more. You forgot Black Entertainment Television, which is hardly entertaining.

You obviously fail to see that, as long as Race is considered to be a problem it will be a problem. The hardships imposed upon Native Americans and African-Americans is well documented. The development of organizations to champion the causes of said people is magnanimous. The wounds of past treatment are still fresh in the souls and minds of the formerly oppressed. Moreover, if it is not racism, its "Placism". Keep a group disenfranchised and maintain "Glass Ceilings" and there is limited upward mobility. How does one compare Affirmative Action to Preferential Treatment? There must be balance in America.

I have pointed out most of these as well, don't forget Black Entertainment Television.

Last time I brought this up I got flamed and told by a bunch of people that black people have been mistreated for so long that they have the right to this stuff.

Bunch of crap if you ask me

Also, the whole issue with someone getting into a college because they're a minority, versus someone who actually DESERVES to go, really gets my blood boiling.

**EDIT**

To completely clarify the situation, I am not racist. I believe, as you can see from my other posts, that all people deserve to be treated equally, and this goes both ways. There is no reason why a race, after having complained about racism for years and years, should turn around and do the exact same thing.

No reason at all.

We couldn't kill racism, then what excuse would we have to hate each other. However I do beleive having such things as mentioned and others just keep adding fuel to the fire. They fight so hard against it yet seperate themselves like that. Why? I wonder if a white or another race can enter the ms. Black usa pagent?

naw we got rid of racism long ago we just want the wetbacks and spics to go back cause as they said on South Park"They're taking our jobs!!!" of course if it wasn't for all them cracker farmers hiring them to pick in the fields so cheap and all them Jew lawyers trying to get them citizenship we'd be okay and while we're at it all the irish catholics giving them free stuff through catholic charities, they'll never leave. and of course all the towel heads gotta go because of 9/11. but we got rid of racism in the 60s the hippies ended it.

Sadly, yes. I sometimes wonder how much of it is in a humans nature, though. You would think that a country that was founded as a "melting pot" would be more tolerant. Oh well, a girl can dream.
