1pt water
1 lemon
2 tbls honey
1 tbls sugar
2 shots brandy

Boil water and place in a jug, squeeze the lemon and then put the whole lemon in the jug, add the honey and the brandy and crush the paracetamol and place in. This should give you 2 good mugs worth. save 1 till at least 4 hours later and you can warm up in the microwave for 20 seconds. My Nan swears by it and yes it really works

The usual over the counter stuff - however, my mam swears by honey. I know it sounds strange but it apparently has something in it which combats the flu symptoms.
