I think you are being a little too optimistic, with Cincy. This is understandable with you being a fan, but I think they are in trouble. They have to clamp down on the run. Also if they can't do a better job of protecting Palmer, he may not make it through the season. But if it makes you feel any better, Pittsburgh can't protect Ben either. Good luck

1. San Diego - for the way they are playing now that Rivers is allowed to throw. Top D in the league, only Atlanta has a better run game, Rivers will eventually be a superstar behind that O-line.
2. Indy- Obviously great offense, played a tight one against lowly Tenn, but you can't argue with 5-0.
3. Baltimore- beat the Chargers when the handcuffs were on Rivers, the loss to Denver was a fluke, every QB has a bad game here and there. All about the D.
4. New England- Playing great ball, beating good teams as usual. Even in their diminished form.
5. Cinci - Carson Palmer is just fun to watch, Peyton who? They need work on defense to win the big games. Very tempted to put Jacksonville here.

I would have to rate Denver and New England as 1 & 2.
Indy is 3, Cincy as 4, due to the lack of being able to stop the run, and Baltimore as 5 since the Ravens offense is stagnant right now, I put Denver and New England as 1 and 2 because of DEFENSE! Denver's "D" is the best in the AFC. The Bears Defense is the best in the NFL.

a million. Ravens- week to week they are the final group in soccer, very consistant all season different than the buffalo interest 2. Jets- 2 weeks in the past i had them extensive kind one, after the final 2 video games extensive kind 3 became tempting... 3. Steelers- i think of their ultimate soccer has already been performed and their final 2 video games have been dreadful 4. Patriots- the browns interest aside this group merely nicely-knownshows suggestions on a thank you to win 5. Titans- very under-rated perfect now, Moss will open issues up for Johnson who i assume to start up shredding defenses back NFC a million. Falcons- they have struggled at circumstances and lucked out in some video games however the offense is feirce and the protection is to no longer shabby. 2. Packers- the save enjoying nicely regardless of the slew of injuries which makes you ask your self what could have been this season 3. Saints- they are on the cusp of a run owing to a susceptible 2d 0.5 schedule 4. Giants- they dont have a single high quality win and have been blown out two times via AFC south communities 5. Eagles- with Mike Vick under midsection they may be the NFCs ultimate, with Kevin Kolb? no longer plenty i agree that choosing 5 from the NFC isn't uncomplicated because of the fact all of them are tremendously susceptible, they have appeared extra useful the previous couple of weeks yet its merely because of the fact there havent been any extreme profile inter-convention video games recently

My Top 5 AFC teams after Week 5:
1) Denver - although they have some real tough games ahead of them (Cincy, Pitts, Indy)
2) Cincinnati - after the beating from New England I was tempted to rank them lower but thinks they'll bounce back.
3) San Diego - nasty D, even after Sunday night I'm not sold on Rivers yet
4) New England - they keep bouncing back and bouncing back, solid D and a good run game will do that
5) Baltimore - nasty, nasty D will keep them in almost any game they play and now they have some O

1. Colts ( #1 until they lose)
2. Broncos( they do not lose at home)
3. Chargers (very complete team offense and D)
4. Jaguars ( good D, offense is geting better)
5. Ravens ( Great D, offense needs a bye week)
For those Patriot fans, sorry, but you are 3-0 in a very weak division.

I agree with the team in your top 5 but not the order. heres mine;
1. Colts-(they 5-0)
2. Patriots- (they doing good offensively without david givens and deion branch.)
3. Baltimore-( all their defensive player healthy like ray lewis, ed reed, and jamal lewis is back, and got steve mcnair)
4. Chargers-(Phillip Rivers showing why hes a 1st round and capable of leading this team. LT and Gates doin good, their 2nd string running back is good, they top defensive team so far 2day, in the past they kind lack all round defensive team)
5. Denver broncos-( they have same squad last year except for loosing 1 key offensive play like mike anderson and some DE from last year, but they got replacements on both side, the rookie bell is doin good and the otha one will start playing like he did last year)
thats my order. steelers( what the hell they doin they only 1 game and that was against . jaguars are in the top 10 and not top 5. bengals they in the top 10 but not top 5
