Human hair wigs were around long before the synthetic ones came out. Why would it be wrong to buy human hair wigs? Unlike the slaughter of animal for furs and hides, humans are not killed for their hair. They sell it for that purpose, and they donate it so that someone undergoing chemo can receive a human hair wig.

Not at all, someone made a nice profit having their long hair cut off so you could buy that wig. It's not like they come from dead people, not in civilized countries anyway, and with real hair wigs, they can be coloured to better match your own hair.

I think its ok if you know the source of the hair. I read an article in FIRST magazine, which showed a picture of a little girl in the far east having her hair literally pulled from her head to be sold for wigs. I don't think this is acceptable.

....no they are made from people that sell their hair ....lots of people donate their hair to make wigs for cancer patients .what would be wrong about buying a wig made of human hair .. nothing at all !!..

Only if you dont like the thought of having some random person's hair on your head. Otherwise no of course it's not wrong, they havnt been forced to sell their hair.
