i used to count on limewire, but i got infected a few days ago, and i'm geussing it was limewire. it could have been anything else, but i just wanna stay on the safe side.

so where can i find a source to download songs/music on my computer with out worrying about getting infected? norton isn't good enough for defense, sometimes it's the first prgram a virus would infect

Get a VIRUS SCANNER, keep it updated... Everytime you download something, go to the folder it's located in and RIGHT-Click it, then Scan It For Viruses!!!!!!!!! NEVER click on ANYTHING you've downloaded from anywhere until you scan it first! With a virus scan and a firewall and the willingless to NOT be infected, you will never have this problem again. Remember though, just having a virus scan/firewall on your computer is useless if it's not kept up-to-date and especially if you don't use it. People download a song or movie of Limewire and just start playing it, not knowing they've probally just let loose a virus! If only they'd taken the time to scan the file first BEFORE the opened it or played it... If Only.... GOOD LUCK THOUGH ;-)

Never ever think about Kazaa, must be the worst Trojan-full piece of junk.

For my anime downloads, I tried Shareaza and eMULE without my antiviruses telling me they got me spyware and stuff, but I can't tell you for sure at 100%!
