What currency is CHF?

Is it the China Yuan? I'm not sure..

CHF is the official banking name for Swiss francs (from the latin name of the country Confederation Helvetica, CH) . On the currency websites Swiss francs are shown with the use of CHF as sign.

For example, CHF.1,000 means "A thousand Swiss francs"
