I wanting to get a tie, but I don't understand the difference between the materials. There's also the option of cashmere + silk. Which material is the best? Thanks!

Jacquard is a woven background with print on top of fabric and is very lightweight.

Saglione is is a thick ribbed fabric (usually no print) and is fairly heavyweight.

If you live in a warmer locale and/or don't like to wear ties, I'd go with the jacquard. If you live in a colder area and/or like the feel of a tie, I'd recommend the Saglione.

The Cashmere-silk blend is one I'd avoid as it is hard to clean and press.

Hope this helps!

Hi Sassbag Matt paint has no sheen to the paint. Silk paint has a slight sheen which reflects more light. I hope this helps. Best wishes.
