I am from North India and the Birds I have seen :

Near Major cities in Plains :
Black Crow
Grey Pigeon
Parrots
Common House Sparrow
Peacock
Eagle
Myena

In Hills , I once saw an Owl from very close : its eyes were shining brightly in the dark . It was in August 2001 and the place was Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh , India .

Birds have micro-habitats.If you look around rice fields you will find some wading birds and some with long bills.In farm houses there will be sparrows and owls. In the backyard you may find myna, pigeons, crows, doves.In the guava orchard find parrots. In mango trees you will find the nest of crows. In the Sandy place where there are carcasses, you will find vultures.In large peepal tree you will find dozens of variety of birds roosting.

Raptors:

Barn owl, Tawny Owl, Little Owl, Merlin, Hobby, Sparrowhawk, Kestrel, Peregrine falcon, Buzzard, Rough legged buzzard, Red Kite, Marsh Harrier, hen harrier, Gos hawk, Osprey stop off on migration occasionally.

And I have in my back garden:

Lanner falcons, Lugger falcons, Saker falcons, a Gyr falcon, a Prairie falcon, many hybrid falcons, Harris hawks, Bengal eagle owl, white tailed sea eagle and three golden eagles. But obviously these are not wild.

Hello! I live in the Philippines.Here are some birds found here:

. Pigeons (we call them "kalapati" here)
. Native Chickens (we call them "manok" in tagalog)
. Love birds

Black crows,sparrows,pigeons,Eagles,cuckoos,hens,and the beautiful ones..humming Birds ( rare ones)
