my husband and i had been living apart since i left him in may.
he sees the kids on saturdays only and gives some allowance to them. he once asked me for a date but i declined. he asked me again and i said it will be with the kids not only the two of us. he is also an obsessive gambler and a mama's boy who lives under the shadows of his father. he is the exact replica of his father

CHANCES ARE GOOD! THE QUESTION IS DO U WANT HIM BACK? U LEFT HIM ONCE, I'M SURE U HAD GOOD REASONS TO DO IT. WHAT MAKES U THINK THAT HE HAS CHANGED? WOULD U BE ABLE TO STAY WITH HIM, KNOWING AND REMEMBERING THE THINGS HE DONE TO U AND THAT HE LIVED WITH HIS MISTRESS?

Sounds to me like you'll be better off by yourself with the kids. He's not setting a good example of a husband or a father. #1 He has a mistress, #2 He's a gambler, #3 He's a momma's boy. Sounds to me like he's selfish and needs alot of attention. Pick up the pieces and move on. You'll feel much better.

It sounds like he still cares for you, but there is really no telling if or when he will come back. You could try to make him jealous....If he knows you are moving on in your life and you don't need him, it could really affect him in a way where he will realize he was wrong. I know this will be difficult for you, but in a way you need to move on! Make him think YOU don't need him anymore (just the kids need him). IIf it doesn't work, It wasn't meant to be, Then file for child support...This will play a roll in how much money he gambles with...and the money will be given to you for the kids. -Playbookcritic

Chances are really that you don't need him. But you'll realize that sooner or later.

But it is also unlikely that he would willingly return... why would he. He's got his mom and his mistress and in a way, he has you too, at least emotionally. For him Life is good.... but you young lady need to move on and forget the bumb. Let him have visitation but thats all.

well looking at what ya wrote about your husband,i would say no,not without letting him know whats on your mind.i see,you left him and then declined two dates from him,and then let another women take your place. if you love him and whant him back, dont waste any more time before telling him so.dont give his mistress any more time to get her hooks in yourr man.stand up for what you want out of your relationship with your husband.if you dont tell him whats on your mind, he will never know. good luck. take care. if ya wnat to talk somtime msg. me.

You may be better of, with out him, yes it may be hard right now, but with time, you will have peace of mind. Don't go on a date with him, he is just playing you, you need a clean break from him. because if you don't he is just going to mess up your head. For your own sanity sake, you need to move on. One day you will find Mr. Right, but take your time, and get to know him better, so you will not have to make the same mistake!

Okay, do you really what a chronic gambler who lives with another woman? Ask yourself this question? More importantly, what would you tell your daughter, if she was facing the same situation.

it sounds like you are better off with out him! find a nice man who isn't a cheat or a mama's boy, or a gmabler. There is someone out there for everyone. I'd count yourself lucky that you have had a lucky escape.
