The singer was Terry Hall most probably. Which song it was, I don't know. Could have been 'The Lunatics (have taken over the asylum)' or more likely, It Ain't What You Do It's the Way That You Do It perhaps?

No idea but Terry Hall did not do a solo single!
Funboy Three sung with Bannanarama but that was I't ain't what you do it's the way that you do it!
