three men check into a hotel. The clerk says the cost of the room is 30 dollars. They each pay 10 dollars. After they go up to their room, the clerk realized he had overcharged them, and gives the bell boy 5 dollars to give back to the men. The bell boy gives each of them one dollar back and keeps the other two for himself. After receiving the dollar back each, the men only paid 9 dollars instead of 10. 9 times 3 is 27. The bell boy kept the other 2. 27 plus 2 is 29. Where did the other dollar go?
