We could well do without sponging teenage mums and Dads, gippoes, career idiot criminals, chavs etc or are they caused by our own system of government?

Is it Darwinism which states that the strong will survive? Are the strong these downtrodden underclasses and will there be so many one day that the UK will be brought to its knees?

Sure those i refer to have the potential to be far cleveror and have potential to add to our society but they dont show it. Is that because they are born into a dumbed down culture and therefore dont have the opportunity to improve themselves?

I think there are sections of society that are better if better means better educated and not participating in crime or sponging off the welfare state - sorry.

Basshead's more cleveror than us all...but seriously, the media in the UK, being as class orientated as they claim they're not, nowadays have this need to perpetually print the failings of what they call the C2DE socio-economic group to have us all sneer and snarl with hypocritical glee - and of course teenage mums, ganja puffing schoolboys, Burberry clad footy yobs and tattoo'd chip eating Northerners with UB40 in one pocket and lotto ticket in the other makes for 'sexy' reading, and not forgetting the good old 'asbo' - come now...we don't think of Darwin, or even Freud when reading such stories, but how supposedly classy we are. Hilarious!

Yes it's a shame. I can't walk down the street without seeing some foul mouthed youth spitting on the pavement, and the less said about the girls wearing next to nothing with their muffin bellies hanging out, the better. But what to do to curb this vile infestation of our beautiful Blighty? Sterilize by postcode? Of course there would have to be some exception made for the poor students who live in some of these areas whilst they are studying to get a good job.

In all seriousness, if we had to kind of police power and respect we had 50 years ago, we wouldn't see half this sort of disgusting anti social behavior. Give the teachers and police back the power to do something about it and we'll soon see a decline in these horrible little vermin.

Ever stop to think that these downtrodden underclasses wouldnt be how they are if there wasnt snobbish, upperclass, i'm so much better than you ppl around ? Do you really believe that all the 'underclass ppl' want is to have money so they can buy 50 grand cars (on hp) & 150 pound T shirts etc ?
There are criminals & general scum on all sides of a comunity. What you wear ,what you drive ,& what music you listen to isnt a reflection of the person you are .
Take your blinkers off .

Clever, classy, sophisticated are these new words for well off, and rich. It sounds like it. Are you a snob? Every country has people in it who are not good people and for some reason they all seem to congregate in one area of each city. Were they caused by systems of government I don't think so because they are everywhere under all forms of government. I believe that the people of this class who are able to change themselves are the ones who will one day rule. Because it takes a lot of inner strength to change not only your outlook but your whole life and way of thinking. It is said that the strong will inherit the earth.

Government policy makes it more worthwhile for people to stay at home - have children and benefits rather than a job (a baby if you are a woman, bad back if you are a man) - there is no incentive - I quite agree. Darwinism would win through if everyone really had to fight for their own survival - because the undeserving are getting help (and I staunchly believe that the genuine sick and disabled should be helped) the undesirable elements of society are being artificially supported.

There has always been a class divide, but the rise in crime is due to the soft policies of the government & police, because we have to be PC and not breach a person's human rights. Try being a bit more open minded, and don't assume that you are any better than anybody else- that's not sophisticated or classy.

The dumb commoners as you call them out number the clever classy and they will keep on growing. Sooner of later the clever classy will all be forced to one area of the country with the dumb commoners taking over the rest. These dumb commoners are having children and passing on their believes to them. They don't punish their children and so in turn are making the next generation of dumb commoners. This will keep happening until there is a super breed of dumb commoner. The dumb commoners will inherit the earth.

I don't know - I'm just reading the biography of the Duke of Windsor and it makes me sick!
Talk about stupid, disloyal and self indulgent.
I think the welfare state has a lot to answer for - I live near an estate and almost all the problem kids are the children of one parent families. Not all - I was a single mother too, but I knew where my kids were and they were disciplined! And cared for.

I think the problem in this country is that more educated people are chossing not to have children or having them at a much later time. In effect darwinism is going out the window becuse the (no offence meant) intellegent people are not breeding as they are perhaps choosing to put career first.

I assume you are placing yourself in the 'dumb commoners' basket! Because only someone with little or no compassion would ask such a ridiculous question! Not everyone is raised the same and some people weren't shown the right way to behave in society or brought up with good morals. It doesn't mean they don't deserve to live in this country any more than you do. Maybe if you actually pulled your head out of your a$s you would realise that we live in a diverse society and although you may not chose to live your life in such a way, it doesn't give you the right to judge those less fortunate. Untill you have walked in their shoes you have NO right to judge!
