I apologize for not being able to answer this from the ladies perspective - BUT - I am an older man who has remained single during his life. I'm sorry to the lady answerer who was inappropriately pursued. I occasionally go out with 'younger' women, meaning women 15 years or more my junior. I can add to your research that, in my experience, some women really do not wish to be pursued by an older gentleman, while other women do not seem to care either way, and, lastly, there is the group which prefer it.

Well, usually we don't get a choice like Richard Gere or John Travolta. An older man "pursued" me this past summer. I'm sorry to say, I really did not enjoy it, certainly NOT a delight. Possibly turned me off to "older gentlemen" for life. I couldn't stop wondering WHAT he was thinking. What an ego. Um, NO, actually, I'm not terribly attracted to anyone more than 20 years older than me. Let's face it, as we age, our bodies are not usually what is considered attraction causing.....If it's DELIGHT one is after, I'll delight in a younger, more viril guy's attention, thanks.

I did when I was in my twenties and I mean the men that were no older than their late 30's or early 40's. But since I'm married now it doesn't matter anymore.

People, male and female, should stick to mates that are within 10 years of their age. I find it creepy that older men are so insecure they think they need a college girl on their arm to impress. Its funny because often these men are overweight and unnattractive and yet they want a very slender beauty to bolster their ego. You would think they would feel slightly embarrassed......
