How many people live in Canada Vs. USA? That is the main factor. In the US we have about 300 million people. Canada has about 35 million. Do the math. One to seven ratio means although the US had more school shootings, US schools are actually safer.

That's because parents in America aren't involved enough in there kids lives. When the kids flip out and do stupid stuff like murder classmates. They quickly blame it on the influence of video games and TV. The ignore the real problem which is bad parenting and poor support for the children. When news reports about school massacre get out and other socially challenged kids see it they feel like wow that would be away for me to get the attention of the people that piss me off. Nothing we do from a security standpoint will work to stop this. The only way it will stop is for adults mostly parents and teachers work better to understand what kids are going through and put some effort into reaching out to those weird ones that feel left out of normal social circles.

There are many reason:

Too many broken families or children who have never had a stable life or even knew their fathers.

Too little time for children.

Constant violence in all the media.

Too many liberal laws.

Loss of respect for life.

A nation who tolerates anything but outlaws God at everyturn. Therefore a total lack of morality.

God blessed us when we blessed Him but He plays no significant role in today's society.

People are working so hard to pay taxes and make a living they are numb to what is happening under their noses.

Mothers are having babies without knowing how to love or care for them.

Children are being used and abused. There is no one there to confide in when they are troubled.

Divorce is too easy and then both parents are so busy 'making a new life' for themselves sacrificing the children's welfare.

Hi,

Basically, you lack any real depth of culture. Canadian culture is more similar to European; that self reflective, self critical culture, we are the children of the enlightenment. In this respect US is more like some of the states they are engaged in armed struggle with.
