Read books, not only will it increase your vocabulary but it will also keep your mind sharp. Another way you can increase it is by getting one of those word a day calenders and using the word of the day as many times as you can in an appropriate manor. If that isn't an option then you can just make your own word of the day, read the dictionary and pick a word, read the meaning and use it several times throughout the day.

Dictionary is the only solution. Either u can buy it or there ar plenty of them available for free to down load. They will not only function as dictionary but also can take ur test. jst search in the google with this "free downlodable english dictionary".

Pick a word out the dictionary each day and try to use it in your conversations, that way they will just sink in!!

My bro did it by reading books, underlining words he did not understand and looking up the oxford dictionary.
I did it by watching movies. Its entertaining and you get to learn a lot of words that you don't find in books ;-)

have the regular practise of refering dictionary and go to spoken english classes or try to know pronuntiation of every word correctly from others.
