Try to give her plenty high fibre, lots of fresh fruits and veg and lots of water, the only thing you can do is persuade her tell her you will hold her hand and that the longer she waits the more sore it will get, my daughter had the same problem, it's quite common and it can be so painful for them to go. Tell her the medicine will take away the pain. Good luck.

Well, sooner or later she won't have a choice when it's time, it's time but to help her go on her own, she needs to have a normal poop to be at ease and a big part of it is her diet, my step daughter went thru this at age 4-6 yrs, and when we had her, there was several occasions when it was time, she had no choice and tht little baby girl let out a few blood curdling screams when it was almost thru, we literally had to cut it up in order for it to flush down. Cheese is not good, binds u up but fiber, veg are important but, her Dr. will also tell u a diet tht will be good for her at her age if she is really young.

The problem is, especially with long-term relationships, sometimes a person's view will change. For instance a woman may not want children when she's in her teens and 20's. However, she might change her mind as she gets older and the potentiality of having children becomes much smaller.

My daughter was exactly the same - I used to sit on a stool in front of her and read her a story or sing songs. When she needed to push I used to hold her hands........
Its a nightmare but she will get there
Good Luck
