An Angel, her dress and everything matched the colors that are on the tree. However, at our last place she didn't fit atop the tree, the tree is 8ft tall and the ceing of the house, just wouldn't allow for it, so we used a Star.

A beautiful angel that's been passed down the family for donkeys years, it belonged to my great great grandma who was Italian, there's a little verse that she passed down with it and its still read out by one of us now on Christmas day each year.
Touch the angel,
make your wish,
for a year filled with love,
hope, happiness and bliss,
may your blessing be many,
your problems be few,
don't ever forget,
my love shines on you.
I'm 50 at christmas and family tradition states that I have to pass the angel on to my child or a female relative younger than me, as I have no children of my own it will be passed onto my brothers daughter in the new year and I know it will be as well loved and looked after as it has always been, I will miss the angel so much.
