IBID simply means that the reference is to a page in the same book.

It comes from the latin IBIDEM - IN THE SAME PLACE

ibid is used to alleviate the referencing of an immediately prior reference of work in a bibliograpjy or footnote

'ibid' means that the citation is coming from the book just previously cited. Rather than listing the same title over and over, 'ibid' is used.
