Which keeper, over the past 10 years do you believe to be the best. I dont support either team, but personally think Scmichael had a bigger personality and was the better keeper. Your views please

Schmeichel was by far the better keeper. He kept the back four in order and wasn't afraid to give them a rollicking. Saved lots of points for Man Utd and was a true match winner. He even scored a goal in a UEFA Cup tie! Capped it all off by finally winning Champions League in 1999. Seaman on the other hand enjoyed getting chipped lots and even conceded a goal direct from a corner vs Macedonia in Southampton. Plus, he never suited that naff ponytail!

Being an Arsenal fan, my bias would lead me to say Seaman, however, I have to admit that Schmichael was one of the greatest keepers I've ever seen.
In so far as the best penalty stopper, without hesitation you'd have to say Seaman, but there's no point in stopping tham from 12 yards if you can be beaten from the half way line!

Rudolph the Red Nose Schmeichel was by far the better keeper. He had more presence and made fewer mistakes over his career. He made an average defence almost unbeatable, whereas Seaman's defence were rock solid already. Can you remember any costly mistakes that Schmeichel made for club or country? Bet you remember one or two of Seaman's spills!!!

This is a very unfair question because I happen to like both of these characters, for different reasons, Peter because he was with Manchester United, but, then again David was with England, so who do I choose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh never mind being patriotic, The Great Dane wins again. Absolutely Awesome Goalkeeper in my opinion. And not a bad dancer either, did you see him on Saturday night?

Shonks Schmichael for me every time. Spunky Seaman single handily lost us the 2002 World Cup!
