The Ex-husband has vandalised my current partner's car while he was at my parent's house (where i live). I cannot move out and the ex literally lives right around the corner from my parents.
It's a country area so i cannot go far without a car (which i cannot afford, nor rent for living elsewhere!)
Anyone got any suggestions? OTHER then 'braining' the ex?

I and my partner both reported him for vandalism.
But he wasn't caught in the act so the cops cannot do anything. Nor can i get a restraining order as he has not been proven of doing anything and hasn't treatened either me or my new partner.

You're right, without proof the law isn't going to get involved. Your partner might want to invest in a car alarm. About all you can do is give the ex enough rope, sooner or later he will get caught.

The woman is in control in a divorce -
you simply have to be really sneaky -
Invite your ex over to talk things over --
He's on your property - -
do as you wish - he attacked you scared you- threatened you what ever - put a gun to his head and tell him that if he ever does anything to make you unhappy again you will blow a hole in him -
or tell him that every time he does something to you or your partner that you will do something to his mother, sister, best friend etc
DO NOT LET HIM GET AWAY WITH THIS NOT EVEN ONE TIME
like a child he will keep trying to see what he can get away with

what is braining? anyways it might take a little bit but set up some camcorders in your area if he is going to do something so childish as vandalism, catch him in the act and have him arrested, or hit him over the head with a frying pan several times, real friends will help you find a good place to hide the body

Take your husband to court and get a restraining order on him...he wont be allowed to come anywhere near you or your current partner!
If he IS caught again , he could b jailed....that should be enough to scare him away...
Else... BRAIN HIM!!!! lol

Most state laws, have laws against harassement, and also restraining order protection. Consult your local law enforcement and speak with them. Best Wishes

You can get a restraining order for just the fear of him. You don't need any valid reason.
