First time BC user, Heavy bleeding?

I am a first time user of BC (micorgestion 1.5/30) pills and am only on day 3 of the first week, but I am experiencing Heavy Bleeding and now am a little nervous. I got my what I thought was my period on Sunday so I began the pill, My period didnt actually start until Monday and was kinda light. On Tuesday it got really heavy and has been so ever since. Did I do something wrong and will I get my period during the placebo week? Thanks for any replies

you were supposed to start within 24 hours of the first day of your period OR the sunday of that week.. My period was really heavy but I was REALLY irregular to begin with and now it's heavy and a full week long so I think maybe it's spposed to be like that. For me at least. You should talk to your prescibing doctor or if you got it at a clinic, call and ask them.
